Audrey B. Young is a senior strategic communications advisor in Holland & Knight's Washington, D.C., office. Ms. Young has an extensive background in high-stakes communications strategy and public affairs. She concentrates in reputation protection for well-known individuals and the heavily regulated energy, transportation, chemical, healthcare, real estate and financial services industries. She develops messaging for corporate leadership and individuals facing government investigations, accidents, mass disasters, product liability, significant deals and litigation, including class actions and mass torts. Ms. Young regularly serves as the principal communications and media strategist for corporate leaders and works with news agencies throughout the world in the aftermath of sensitive data privacy and security breaches.

Ms. Young designs and manages high-stakes and litigation communications initiatives for some of the world's leading corporations and celebrities. She and her public affairs team have mitigated lawsuits in class action and mass tort environments. A longtime grassroots advocacy and ally development campaign strategist, Ms. Young mobilizes powerful advocates in support of her clients' legal, regulatory and reputation protection objectives. She works regularly with a wide range of science, health, economic, legal and safety experts throughout the United States and around the world on critical issues where politics have gotten out in front of science and the facts. Working with a team of widely recognized public affairs professionals throughout the U.S., she navigates sensitive community-based issues and public policy matters that are playing out in the media.

A veteran of high-profile media relations initiatives, Ms. Young's work with mainstream, trade and online media has resulted in fair news coverage. She works on a daily basis with well-known individuals and corporate leaders to prepare for media interaction. Her media relations work with journalists on high-stakes litigation and crisis matters ranges from local reporters and editors to producers, on-air talent and investigative reporters at legal news outlets, trade and public policy publications around the world, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, USA Today, 60 Minutes, NPR, FOX News, CNN, PBS, MSNBC, The Discovery Channel, Forbes, BusinessWeek, Der Spiegel, Vanity Fair, Huffington Post and all the major wire services.

Ms. Young began her career at the Democratic National Committee on the 1984 Mondale-Ferraro presidential campaign and later on Capitol Hill in the office of Rep. Terry Bruce (Il.). After more than a decade of campaign management and corporate public affairs work for one of the largest government affairs firms in the U.S., she built and led a litigation communications and reputation protection practice aligned closely with Chambers top-rated litigators and regulatory attorneys and practices.
