Overview

Kimberly Case is a senior policy advisor in the Public Policy & Regulation Group in the Tallahassee office of Holland & Knight. Ms. Case has more than 15 years of experience working in the legislative and executive branches of state government, where she developed knowledge across a broad range of subjects, including public safety, Medicaid fraud, litigation reform, education, insurance, financial services and the appropriations process. Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Case served as director of legislative affairs for three statewide elected officials—Attorney General Pam Bondi, Attorney General Bill McCollum and Chief Financial Officer Tom Gallagher. In this role she developed their legislative and budget priorities and led lobbying efforts before the Florida Legislature. She helped her principals attain numerous legislative achievements, including the passage of a comprehensive "pill mill" bill, anti-human trafficking legislation, legal reform in private attorney contracting, cyber safety for children and the regulation of viaticals. Prior to her work in the executive branch, Ms. Case served in the Florida House of Representatives as a committee analyst, as a policy analyst for the Republican Conference and as a deputy staff director of the House Majority Office.

Her current practice focuses on advocating for clients in the areas of economic development and incentives, business regulation, cybersecurity and privacy, healthcare, transportation, local government and appropriations.
