Banks Look to Business with Cuba, but with Reservations

Although there is much interest in U.S. banks opening trade relations with Cuba, recently lifted sanctions leave doubt for many in the sector.

Partner Andres Fernandez said despite interest, banks will not initiate business until Cuba is removed from the list of nations that support terrorism. He also said it would be a process because banks will have to change their policies and adjust their systems to handle transactions.
