Holland & Knight Adds Litigation Practice to Mexico City Office with Hiring of Daniel Jiménez

MEXICO CITY (September 3, 2014) – Holland & Knight is pleased to announce that experienced litigator Daniel Jiménez has joined the firm’s Mexico City office as a senior counsel. With the arrival of Mr. Jiménez, the office will now include a litigation practice with strengths in commercial litigation, administrative litigation, civil litigation, and white collar defense and investigations.

Mr. Jiménez brings more than 18 years of experience in litigation and arbitration processes, public procurement, controversial public bids of assets and services, public construction and public servants liability, as well as commercial, administrative, civil and criminal law, class actions, fraud, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and administrative liability in both the private and public sector.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Jiménez worked in the public sector where he was in charge of the Special Litigation Unit at the Comisión Federal de Electricidad (Federal Commission of Electricity). He also was the head of the in-house litigation team at Luz y Fuerza del Centro (Electric Light and Power).
