GAO Army Contract Case Highlights ITAR Compliance

The U.S. Government Accountability Office recently denied a government contract protest by a small business in California after finding its proposal was properly eliminated from the competition under a request for proposals issued by the U.S. Army. It was reasonably concluded that the proposal failed to show the required compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
