How the House GOP Won Its Challenge Against The ACA

Over the past several years, the Affordable Care Act (ACA) has endured a plethora of challenges, most notably in 2012 when the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the individual mandate, which required people to have health coverage. However, on May 12, 2016, the Obama administration suffered a crucial defeat when the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia admonished any further returns to health insurers for the ACA's cost-sharing reduction program.
