Representation of a Uruguayan family in an international child abduction case in Gwinnett County, Georgia
After hearing all of the evidence presented by our lawyers, the Judge ruled that the parents were entitled to custody of their child. The child and her parents were finally able to return to Uruguay as a family four years after their ordeal began.
Representation of Danny Williams, a prisoner incarcerated in Georgia’s Hancock State Prison
Holland & Knight was appointed to represent Danny pro bono who had not received mail from his wife concerning is case. The motion for summary judgment was granted by the United States Magistrate Judge for the Middle District of Georgia.
Representation of Homes for Our Troops
The Atlanta Real Estate Group assisted Homes for Our Troops pro bono by arranging for the title examination, reviewing the title insurance policy and conducting the closing on a new home in Douglasville, Ga. for a wounded serviceman.
