Through the Holland & Knight Charitable Foundation Opening Doors for Children Program in the New York office, and in conjunction with its adopted New York City School, P.S. 19, the office participates in the following school and student volunteer programs:
DEAR Program (Drop Everything and Read): A weekly reading program
RIF Program (Reading is Fundamental): Organization and implementation of three book distributions each year
LaGuardia High School (High School for the Performing Arts)
Mentoring Program conducted by Associates: Preparation of students for the statewide Moot Court and Mock Trial Competitions
Modern Artworks Program: A combined effort of our Charitable Foundation, CUE Art Foundation, and the Museum of Modern Art offering an annual exhibition and sale of student artwork at the CUE Art Foundation's art gallery
Learn to Work Program: A three-month student internship program providing a "second chance" opportunity through on the job training and mentoring to troubled students
Legal Outreach Program: A one-week internship for students that exposes underserved students to a broader range and higher level of career opportunities
