Successfully helped a client obtain DNA testing and a new trial for his 1984 conviction for rape, robbery and kidnapping after his DNA did not match what was found
Representation of Mayan Villagers in Compensation for Their Displacement
Our lawyers are representing 23 Mayan villages and communities in Guatemala, organized under the name of COCAHICH, in seeking appropriate compensation for their displacement. The negotiations are at their mid-point, and despite many obstacles, important progress is being made.
