Clients

Our broadcast practice represents licensees, affiliates and parents of commercial AM and FM radio stations, television stations, low power television and radio stations, noncommercial stations, digital stations and stations converting from analog to digital operations.

Transactions

We handle all aspects of the purchase and sale of radio and television stations, the transfer and merger of public- and privately-held broadcast companies, debt and equity financing of broadcast businesses, and compliance with multiple ownership restrictions.

Carriage

We assist clients with TV must-carry and retransmission consents with cable systems and direct broadcast satellite providers, network affiliation agreements, and time brokerage agreements.

Litigation

We are experienced litigators concerning broadcast matters before the FCC with formal and informal complaints, inquiries, investigations enforcement actions and on-the-record, trial-type hearings and FCC rule making proceedings. We have extensive experience in federal court appeals and petitions for review of FCC orders and in assisting trial counsel with Communications Act issues.
