Middle East

Holland & Knight has been assisting clients in the Middle East for many years in connection with a wide range of activities, including banking and finance, construction, hospitality, energy, joint ventures, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, transportation and international trade and security matters. Members of our Middle East Team also represent clients from the region in connection with their U.S. activities, including regulatory and compliance matters. Our clients include international and local private companies, investors, sovereign governments and local and foreign government military departments.

We support clients in the United Arab Emirates and Qatar from our Abu Dhabi office, which also serves as a regional hub from which we serve clients in surrounding regions from India, through the greater Middle East and Africa. Our attorneys have substantial experience representing clients from these regions, along with extensive knowledge gained from local, hands-on representation.

For local United Arab Emirates matters such as litigation, Holland & Knight works closely with the Abu Dhabi-based law firm of Al Masaood & Associates. We also utilize our close relationships with many of the leading locally based firms throughout the rest of the region. With our regional experience and close relationships with other local law firms, our clients have access to the full range of legal services required to support their businesses.
