Public Policy and Regulation Lawyers Secure $500,000 in Transportation Appropriations Bill
Holland & Knight's Public Policy and Regulation lawyers were successful in securing $500,000 and inserting report language in the Transportation appropriations bill to direct the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to develop a program to examine possible safety benefits of lightweight plastic and composite-intensive vehicles. We also included report language in the Energy Department section of the Energy & Water appropriations bill for predictive engineering work in automotive design and developing manufacturing infrastructure and techniques for plastic intensive vehicles.
