$2 Billion Company Created from Two Fortune 500 Companies
When two Fortune 500 companies – a pharmaceutical services company and a healthcare services company – decided to combine forces to create PharMerica Corporation, a $2 billion company, Holland & Knight was chosen to represent the new, independent, NYSE publicly traded company. The complex transaction required a cross-functional Holland & Knight team handling M&A, securities, intellectual property, a $425 million credit facility, real estate, IT outsourcing, licensing, health and pharmacy law, tax issues and governance issues.
