$35.8 Million Jury Trial Win
Holland & Knight delivered a $35.8 million judgment to a Florida-based company after prevailing in a three-week jury trial against the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and its construction manager. The court accepted the unanimous verdict of a 12-member jury and awarded the Holland & Knight client more than $35.8 million for unpaid construction services and interest arising from wrongful termination of its contract involving a uranium clean-up project.
