- OFAC has issued a bulletin that names additional companies and individuals
it has deemed to be acting as fronts or agents for previously designated
foreign drug kingpins. The assets of the named entities must be blocked
immediately. The list is comprised of several Mexican and Caribbean entities
and individuals, including DHL Worldwide Express and Freight
Movers International airport locations in St. Kitts & Nevis, and
individuals associated with these companies.
- OFAC has issued an interim regulation to implement the Executive Order
blocking the importation of rough diamonds from Sierra Leone and Liberia.
OFAC invites interested parties to submit written comments, which must be
received by OFAC no later than April 8, 2002. A copy of the interim
