- The USITC is seeking input from industry officials, trade associations, and
others on the economic impact of a free trade agreement between the United
States and Taiwan. A public hearing will be held on May 13, 2002, and requests
to appear at the hearing should be filed with the Secretary of USITC no
later than 5:15 p.m. on April 30, 2002. The USITC also welcomes written
submissions (one original and 14 copies), which must be addressed to the
Secretary no later than 5:15 p.m. on May 23, 2002. Further information
