Export-Import Bank Applications

The Export-Import Bank has received an application to finance $12.5 million
of equipment, and other goods and services on behalf of U.S. exporters from a
buyer in South Africa, and an application to finance $35 million of
equipment on behalf of U.S. exporters from an automotive crankshaft finisher in
Mexico. The U.S. exports will enable the South African company to increase
phosphoric acid output, some of which may be converted into granular phosphate
fertilizer for export to Australia, Brazil, India and to countries in Africa.
The U.S. exports will enable the Mexican buyer to increase finished automotive
crankshaft output, in part for export to the United States. Interested parties

14 days of the date this notice appeared in the Federal Register, March 3, 2002.
