About Our First Year
March 17, 2004
When we first set out to create this newsletter, we made certain assumptions. We felt that, as a national law firm with over 100 lawyers dedicated to serving private wealth clients, it was important for us to develop unique and informative content for our clients and referral sources.
In addition, we wanted to be a resource for anyone looking for concise and informative publications about tax and estate planning, trusts and estates, fiduciary litigation and family business, nonprofit organizations, and elder law and disability planning. More importantly, we wanted our articles to be more than a promotional brochure or pamphlet, but not so technical that it would discourage the casual reader.
The authors of this newsletter are committed to meet the challenge of providing timely articles on subjects of importance to you, our clients, friends and professional associates. Your feedback has been encouraging and engaging. Some of our material has already been used in professional and continuing education programs. Recently, two of our authors were interviewed and quoted by The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones.
We would like to encourage your comments and use of our content. If you would like to use our articles in print or electronic form, we ask that you contact us for a copyright release. The purpose of this request is not to restrict use but to provide appropriate credit to our lawyers who take the time to compile this information, and to our law firm which has made this publication a priority.
Please let us know if you have any suggestions for the future.
Ed Koren, Holland & Knight Private Wealth Services Section Leader.
