Nicholas Milano Appointed Executive Partner of Holland & Knight's Fort Lauderdale Office

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Holland & Knight Managing Partner Steven Sonberg has appointed Nicholas "Nick" Milano to serve as Executive Partner of the firm's Fort Lauderdale office. In this new role, Milano will be responsible for management of the office. He will focus his energy and talent on expansion of the office's core practice areas, which include real estate, hospitality, litigation, private wealth services, tax and corporate/M&A.

Roger W. Sims will present a paper at the University of Florida Water Institute Symposium on February 28, 2008, in Gainesville. It will address the intersection of growth management and water management in Florida. His abstract was selected from more than 180 submissions.

Larry Liebesman and Betsy Lake will be speaking at a National Stone Sand and Gravel Association Legal Symposium in Las Vegas on March 10, 2008, on Clean Water Act developments post Rapanos. Holland & Knight will be sponsoring the symposium which is part of the national Construction Expo Convention that will likely draw over 100,000 attendees.
