Holland & Knight Partner John J. Monaghan Inducted Into the American College of Bankruptcy

BOSTON – Holland & Knight is pleased to announce that Boston partner John J. Monaghan was inducted as a Fellow into the American College of Bankruptcy during a ceremony on March 15, 2008 in Washington, D.C. Monaghan was invited to join based on his ethics, character, professional expertise and leadership in the bankruptcy field. He joins 29 other bankruptcy professionals who were inducted as Fellows this year.

Monaghan is National Practice Group Leader of Holland & Knight's Corporate Restructuring, Insolvency and Creditors' Rights Practice Group. His extensive bankruptcy practice has involved representation of a wide range of clients, including Chapter 11 debtors, creditors’ committees, equity committees, lenders, purchasers of assets, landlords, licensors, trustees, parties to prepetition contracts and leases, defendants in adversary proceedings and unsecured creditors. He advises clients on the business aspects of bankruptcy and workouts, and represents clients in matters in the Bankruptcy Court as well as in other state and federal courts.
