William F. "Bill" Hamilton- Tampa
TAMPA, Fla., – William “Bill” Hamilton, an intellectual property
partner in Holland & Knight’s Tampa office, has been selected by the
International Trademark Association (INTA) to serve on its Panel of Neutrals.
The Panel of Neutrals is part of INTA’s Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
Program. INTA panelists are a select group of highly qualified individuals with
experience in trademark matters who serve as mediators to help parties resolve
trademark and unfair competition disputes without litigation.
Hamilton, whose practice includes complex litigation in the areas of
intellectual property (copyright, trademark, patent and trade secrets law) class
action defense, telecommunications, antitrust and trade regulation and unfair
trade practices, brings significant arbitration and mediation experience to his
new appointment. He is a certified arbitrator of The Florida Bar Grievance
Mediation and Fee Arbitration Program, a member of the American Arbitration
Association’s National Panel of Arbitrators and Mediators and a member of the
Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR). He also is a Neutral
Arbitrator/Mediator with the National Arbitration Association.
“INTA’s ADR Program is an especially important service given the
globalization of marks and branding, and the need for dispute resolution that
moves at the speed of modern businesses. I am honored to be a part of this
important initiative.”
Hamilton earned his B.A., with honors, in 1970 from Lehigh University, his
M.A. in 1975 from Washington University, and his J.D., with honors, in 1983 from
