November 5, 2004
NEW YORK – Holland & Knight has been named one of the “Most Wanted”
litigation firms in the U.S. According to the November issue of Corporate Counsel
magazine, Holland & Knight is ranked among the top 10 law firms based on the number of Fortune 250 companies which list
the firm as the one they "turn to most" for litigation matters.
Holland & Knight was named eight times in the survey by clients including Fannie Mae, CVS Corporation,
New York Life Insurance Company, BellSouth Corporation, The Coca Cola Company,
Raytheon Company, Publix Super Markets and Marriott International. Additional
clients on the list, from the retail, insurance, banking, automobile and
telecommunications industries, chose not to disclose the identity of their law
firms.
The Litigation Section within Holland & Knight is one of the largest and most powerful practices in the U.S. with over 550 lawyers situated throughout the country. Richard Duvall, chair of the Litigation Section, points out that
"the ranking reflects a growing recognition on the part of sophisticated
companies in a position to hire any law firm, of the strength, depth and breadth
of Holland & Knight's litigation capabilities."
