Survey Ranks Holland & Knight Among the Nation’s Top Firms for IP Litigation
November 7, 2005
NEW YORK – Holland & Knight LLP has been ranked as one of the top IP
litigation law firms in the country by IP Law and Business magazine. The
publication’s annual survey of Fortune 250 companies found that three companies
- Marriott, Publix Super Markets and Tech Data - named Holland & Knight as their
“go to” firm for IP litigation. The three mentions landed Holland & Knight in a
ninth-place tie in the tally of the nation’s top IP litigation firms published
on Nov. 4.
Holland & Knight has more than 75 attorneys concentrating in intellectual
property law with significant experience in litigating complex patent,
trademark, copyright, trade secret and unfair competition disputes before the
federal district courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and
the U.S. International Trade Commission, as well as state courts.
The IP Law and Business survey, called “Who Represents IP America -
2005,” asked general counsel at Fortune 250 companies which firms they used
primarily for IP litigation and which firms they used primarily for patent
counsel.
