Holland & Knight Partner Named Top Washington Lawyer

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Holland & Knight LLP is pleased to announce that Paul Kiernan was named a top
Washington lawyer in real estate litigation by the Washington Business Journal at their annual Top Washington Lawyer awards program on September
14, 2006.
Kiernan, a partner in the firm's Litigation Section, is a trial lawyer and appellate
advocate who focuses on real estate and local government law. He represents
developers, institutions, lenders, builders, real estate trusts, hotels,
landlords and tenants on land use, zoning, condemnation, development, and
property management disputes. He practices regularly in the local and federal
courts in the District of Columbia and the State of Maryland.
Holland & Knight led the program this year with six finalists for the Top Washington
Lawyer awards, more than any of the other 27 law firms represented. Of the
firm's six finalists, half were recognized as "Young Guns."
