WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Phyllis Shuster
(formerly Block) has joined Holland & Knight's Corporate/Mergers and
Acquisitions practice group as Senior Counsel in the firm's West Palm Beach
office.
Shuster is a commercial and corporate lawyer
with extensive technology and healthcare experience. She has served as outside
counsel for major multi-national electronics companies, providing legal advice
on a wide range of U.S. and international transactions, including the
manufacturing, distribution and sales of products, procurement of raw materials
and inventory control arrangements.
Her health care experience includes the
representation of independent pharmacy chains; purchases and sales of medical
practices; and Medicaid audits as well as other regulatory and transactional
matters.
Shuster is a member of The Florida Bar and the
Illinois Bar. She is also a member of the Business Law, Science and Technology
and Health Law Sections of the American Bar Association.
Shuster attended Cornell University, where she
received a B.S. degree in Industrial and Labor relations in 1976, and DePaul
University College of Law, where she received her J.D. in 1979. She is a
Founding Trustee of the Jewish Women''s Foundation of the Greater Palm Beaches
and a member of the Business and Professionals Division of the Jewish Federation
of Palm Beach County.
