WASHINGTON, D.C. – Holland & Knight LLP announces
the representation of its client Scitor Corporation in the acquisition of Scitor
by an affiliate of Leonard Green & Partners, L.P., a
private equity group.
Scitor, which has approximately
1,200 employees, is a leading provider of engineering and management consulting
services for classified programs under long-term contracts to the Intelligence
and C4ISR Community. The company provides services to key intelligence and
defense agencies in the areas of policy, requirements, procurement, planning,
program advocacy, collection, analysis, processing/production, reporting and
information dissemination. Prior to the transaction, Scitor was 100% ESOP
owned.
The Holland & Knight transaction team was led by Northern
Virginia-based partners Bill Mutryn and Jonathan Wolcott and included associates
