CHICAGO – Christopher J. DeLise has joined Holland & Knight's Chicago office as a Senior Counsel in the firm's Corporate/Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Practice Group. DeLise was previously an associate in the Chicago office of DLA Piper.
DeLise is a corporate and securities law attorney cross-trained in business and finance, whose practice focuses on serving the legal needs of private equity funds, hedge funds and other private investment funds, as well as public and private companies. During his career, he has served as outside and in-house General Counsel to private equity funds, hedge funds, public and private companies. His clients include private equity funds, domestic and off-shore hedge funds and private investment funds; micro-cap, mid-cap and Fortune 500 public corporations; as well as emerging growth companies, domestic middle market businesses and multinational private corporations.
In recognition of his M&A and transactional legal services to clients, DeLise was named to the 2008 BTI Transactional All-Star Team. The BTI Consulting Group compiles the list based on the results of its annual survey of Fortune 1000 companies. He was one of only 86 attorneys in the U.S. and 10 attorneys in Chicago named to the 2008 team.
