WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Mark E. Raymond has joined Holland & Knight as a partner in the firm's West Palm Beach office. Raymond brings more than 20 years of experience in public finance and commercial lending, further strengthening Holland & Knight's state and national public finance practice.

"Mark is a highly regarded attorney whose experience and reputation in South Florida and throughout the state will expand the depth and breadth of our public finance reach," said Rick Stephens, head of the Public Finance Group of Holland & Knight. "Mark’s addition to Holland & Knight is reflective of the firm's commitment to the West Palm Beach market," added Marty Alexander, executive partner of the West Palm Beach office. 

Raymond is experienced in a wide array of structures, including multi-modal variable rate bonds, commercial paper, auction rate securities, pooled loan programs, certificates of participation (lease) structures and swaptions. He has handled financings for housing, healthcare, primary and secondary education (both public and private), special assessment, leasing, manufacturing, solid waste (governmental and private), electric, water and wastewater utility, transportation, ports and airports, and facilities for various social service and other charitable organizations.

Raymond is a member of The Florida Bar and the National Association of Bond Lawyers. He received his J.D., with honors, in 1984 and his Ll.M. in Taxation in 1985 from the University of Florida.
