Holland & Knight Expands Private Wealth Services Practice in Florida

TAMPA – The nation’s largest trusts and estates practice bolsters its
Florida presence with the addition of two prominent attorneys. Robert (Bob) J.
Kline has returned to Holland & Knight’s Tampa office. He rejoins the firm as
senior counsel in the Private Wealth Services’ Estate Planning and
Administration Practice Group. Tina Dunsford joins the firm’s St. Petersburg
office as senior counsel in the Private Wealth Services'' Family Businesses and
Tax-Exempt Organizations practice group.

Bob Kline brings extensive experience in estates, trusts, taxation and
litigation. He previously practiced at Holland & Knight from 1987-1994 as a tax
and litigation attorney. He returns to the firm from the financial services
industry, where he served as managing director and senior trust officer for the
Northern Trust Company, and trust coordinator and financial consultant for Smith
Barney, a division of Citigroup Global Markets, Inc.
Kline is a member of the Florida Bar (Real
Property, Probate and Trust Law Section), the State Bar of Michigan and the
Hillsborough County Bar Association. He has served on the board of directors for
the Children’s Cancer Center, the Gulf Coast Museum of Art, and the Lowry Park
Zoo. He received his Master of Law in taxation from Georgetown University Law
Center in 1993, his J.D. cum laude from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School
in 1986, and his bachelor’s in business administration from Michigan State
University in 1982. He holds an "av" rating for competence and ethics from the
Martindale Hubbell Legal Directory.
Tina Dunsford brings substantial knowledge in health care, business
tax, and estate planning for physicians, high-net-worth individuals and closely
held business entities with emphasis on business succession, retirement planning
and preservation of assets, both corporate and individual. Formerly with Akerman,
Senterfitt & Eidson, she has provided general corporate representation of
hospital systems and physician practices, handled specialized litigation matters
and advised business entities on tax matters. She has significant experience in
matters regarding managed care contracting, compliance with fraud and abuse
laws, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement issues, HIPAA, and general contract
negotiations. Prior to joining Akerman, Dunsford served as general counsel to
two Health Maintenance Organizations – The OATH for Louisiana, Inc., and The
Oath – a Health Plan for Alabama, Inc.
Dunsford is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the American
Bar Association, and Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Sections of the
Florida Bar, the State Bar of Georgia and the Hillsborough County Bar
Association. She received her J.D. and Masters of Law in taxation from Emory
University School of Law in 1994 and 1995, respectively, and her bachelor’s in
finance summa cum laude from Kennesaw State University, Kennesaw, Ga., in
1989.
