Holland & Knight Team Closes $171 Million Asset Transaction in Oil & Gas Industrial Services Industry

CHICAGO – Holland & Knight announces the recent closing of a transaction on behalf of Industrial Specialists, LLC, a leading provider of specialty craft services in the U.S. Gulf Coast region to major oil refiners, chemical manufacturers and large engineering and construction firms.
The $171 million transaction resulted in the sale of substantially all of the assets of Industrial Specialists, LLC and its affiliates to Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services, Inc., a portfolio investment of the private equity firm, First Reserve. The transaction better enables Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services to become the leading integrated specialty services provider on the Gulf Coast.
