ORLANDO, FL – Holland & Knight is pleased to announce the addition of a new litigation partner, Ben W. Subin, to its Orlando office. Subin joins the firm’s Construction Industry Team which is one of the largest in the United States. He comes to the firm from the Orlando office of Baker & Hostetler where he was a litigation partner.

Subin focuses his practice in complex construction litigation, including defects, delay damages, acceleration claims, default terminations, bid protests and changed conditions. He has extensive experience representing clients in legal matters arising from the construction of power plants. Subin is a frequent lecturer on a broad range of construction law topics.

Chris Weiss, leader of the firm’s national Construction Industry Team, commented, “We are delighted to welcome Ben to Holland & Knight. His expertise and experience will enhance our construction practice, both locally and nationally.

Subin was named in 2004 by Chambers USA America’s Leading Business Lawyers as one of the leading Florida attorneys in the area of construction law.

“I am very excited to join Holland & Knight’s construction team which has a reputation as one of the preeminent practices in the United States. I view this as a great opportunity to use the firm’s national platform to better serve my existing clients and to further expand my client base. The firm’s collegial culture and my long-standing relationships with many Holland & Knight partners are other key benefits I considered in making this move.”
