Heather Pinder Rodriguez Receives Liberty Bell Award From the Orange County Bar Association

ORLANDO – Heather Pinder Rodriguez, senior counsel in Holland & Knight's Orlando office, was presented today with the Orange County Bar Association's 2008 Liberty Bell Award during the organization's monthly luncheon. The award was created to recognize a person or organization who promotes a better understanding of the rule of law, encourages a greater respect for law and the courts, stimulates a sense of civic responsibility and contributes to good government within the community.
Rodriguez practices in the area of commercial litigation, with a particular emphasis on construction law and commercial leasing disputes. She routinely represents contractors, subcontractors, design professionals and owners in all aspects of construction disputes, including indoor air quality issues, the drafting and negotiation of construction contracts, and litigation avoidance strategies. She is Board Certified in Construction by the Florida Bar.
Within Holland & Knight, Rodriguez serves as co-chair of the firm's Women's Initiative in Orlando, a program designed to promote and support women within the firm and women business leaders in the community. She also serves as a pro bono coordinator for the Orlando office, recruiting and organizing Holland & Knight attorneys who provide free legal services to the indigent.
