Criteria for selection are that transaction values must be above $10 million and below $1 billion with firms working primarily in the middle market.

In the Business to Business category, the sale of CAS Inc. to EDO Corporation was selected as a finalist. This sale was valued at approximately $180 million. Partners William Mutryn, Samuel Kastner and associate Shannon Knotts led the CAS Inc. legal team. The team included partners Jocelyn Brittin, John Dierking, Jon Epstein, Bonni Kaufman, Ron Oleynik, Paul Pompeo, Kenneth Stuart, Jane Tam and Jonathan Wolcott. Additional support was provided with the help of Senior Counsel Al Geske, associates Maria Lumb, Antonia Tzinova, and Jeffrey Rubinger.
