Holland & Knight's Deborah S. Griffin Receives American Bar Association's 2009 Cornerstone Award

Holland & Knight is pleased to announce that Deborah S. Griffin, senior counsel in the firm's Boston office, will receive the American Bar Association's (ABA) 2009 Cornerstone Award at the annual Forum on the Construction Industry Conference held in April. This award is the ABA Construction Forum's highest honor and is presented annually to a member of its construction law group for distinguished service to the construction industry.

Griffin is in the firm's litigation section and concentrates her practice in the area of construction, commercial litigation and bankruptcy. She regularly advises contractors, owners and sureties on construction contract, administration and claim matters and handles construction disputes from start to finish.

Griffin, an active member of the ABA, has served as Chair of the ABA Forum on the Construction Industry from 1990-91 and as a Forum Governing Committee member from 1986-91. She has been involved in various speaking engagements for the ABA and has authored several ABA articles.
