Holland & Knight Attorney Jason S. Gibson Appointed as a Liaison in the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – Holland & Knight is pleased to announce that Jason S. Gibson, an attorney in the firm's Fort Lauderdale office, has been appointed as a Liaison for the Racial & Ethnic Diversity Commission in the Profession of the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division (ABA YLD).

Gibson will serve to help promote diversity and ensure equal opportunity and inclusion for all lawyers regardless of race, sex, disability, sexual orientation and gender identity in the membership, leadership, programming, and other activities of the ABA YLD. His term will officially begin August 1, 2009 and will run until August 7, 2010.

Gibson practices in the area of transactional real estate law focusing on retail, office, and industrial leasing, including rooftop and tower communications equipment. He received an A.B., cum laude, in economics from Harvard College and earned his J.D., cum laude, from University of Miami School of Law.
