Suanne St. Charles Joins Holland & Knight's Real Estate Practice in Boston

Boston – February 18, 2010 – Holland & Knight is pleased to announce that Suanne St. Charles has joined the firm's Boston office as a partner in the Real Estate Practice Group. St. Charles will concentrate her practice on public development projects and real estate financing transactions for commercial projects.
"We are delighted to have Suanne join the Holland & Knight team," said Janis Schiff, head of the firm's Real Estate Section. "Her experience in public and commercial real estate transactions is a nice complement to the comprehensive real estate services that we already provide our clients in the Boston area and across the country."
Prior to joining the firm, St. Charles was a partner with McCarter & English, LLP, where she focused on real estate finance as well as commercial real estate, including acquisitions, dispositions, development and permitting. St. Charles is a member of The Boston Club, the Boston Bar Association and New England Women in Real Estate (NEWiRE). She also serves on the board of directors at Habitat for Humanity Greater Boston, Inc. St. Charles has been named one of Massachusetts "Super Lawyers" consecutively since 2005.
St. Charles received her B.A. with honors in Political Science from Carleton University in Canada and earned her J.D. cum laude from Boston College Law School.
