Dan Coffman Joins Holland & Knight's National Labor, Employment and Benefits Practice Group in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Highly respected Jacksonville labor and employment attorney Dan Coffman has joined Holland & Knight's Jacksonville office as Of Counsel in the firm's national Labor, Employment and Benefits Practice Group. Prior to joining the firm, he was a founding partner at Coffman, Coleman, Andrews & Grogan in Jacksonville.

"He has a wealth of experience in the employment, labor relations and management areas that will enhance our capabilities on a local, regional and national level."
Coffman's experience includes defending employers in wage and hour action, employment discrimination and wrongful termination litigation matters. He has particular expertise in counseling private and public sector employers involving union avoidance, strikes and supervisory training to assist in remaining union-free. In addition, he counsels employers on matters involving wage and hour law compliance, terminations, leave requests, disabilities, occupational safety and health issues.

In his more than four decades of practice, Coffman has handled everything from administrative hearings to jury trials to appeals, in many industries, including: transportation, shipyards, manufacturing, retail supermarkets, automobile processing, newspapers, television stations, community colleges, school boards and banks.
Coffman is a former Naval Aviator and still flies his own plane.
