Holland & Knight Announces Opening of Abu Dhabi Office to Better Serve Clients in the Region and Worldwide

Holland & Knight opens law office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Holland & Knight LLP has opened a law office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The new office will allow the firm to better serve clients located or doing business in the Middle East as well as in the surrounding regions of Africa, Central Asia, India and Pakistan. The office will also support the increasing number of cross-border transactions between those regions and the Americas, Asia, Europe and Russia, as well as the firm's cross-border dispute resolution practice.
Holland & Knight, which has represented clients in the region on a wide variety of business matters and investments for a number of years, will work closely with the independent Abu Dhabi-based law firm of Al Masaood & Associates to provide clients with access to a full range of local and international legal expertise.
Donald Moore, a Holland & Knight partner previously located in the firm's Miami office, has relocated to Abu Dhabi and will serve as the Executive Partner of the office. At least one other partner and several Holland & Knight associates also will be relocating to the new office. Moore and the other Holland & Knight attorneys have extensive experience in business and investment transactions applicable to the region, particularly in the industries of construction, energy, equipment and project finance, hospitality, maritime and transportation.
