Arbitrator Finds in Client's Favor in $28 Million Case
A team of Holland & Knight litigators from three of the firm's offices won a judgment for their client after a two-week arbitration in Denver, Colo. The client, a manufacturer of home appliances, had been sued for $28 million by a Japanese OEM supplier of consumer products. The company alleged that our client failed to adequately market the products in the U.S. Finding in our client's favor on all issues, the arbitrator awarded no damages to the claimant, and awarded compensation for attorneys' fees to our client. The team had been working on this suit for a year and a half before the successful outcome.
