Holland & Knight Partner Named Chair Elect of the Society of International Business Fellows

ATLANTA – W. Reeder Glass, a partner in the Atlanta office of Holland & Knight, has been named chair elect of the Society of International Business Fellows (SIBF), an Atlanta-based organization that advances global understanding and the competitiveness of its members through unique resources, educational experiences and relationships.

“As a member-driven organization, SIBF depends on the volunteer leadership and dedication of members such as Reeder for our continued success,” notes SIBF Executive Director Nancy Haselden.  Glass joined the Society in 1993 and has served in several leadership positions at the local and national level.  He is also a past two-term chair of Leadership Florida and a member of several public and nonprofit boards of directors.

Glass has maintained an extensive governmental, corporate, and real estate practice for more than 35 years. His corporate practice has included the representation of public and privately held companies in their acquisitions and dispositions, as well as a variety of other corporate and business negotiations and agreements. He also has acted as counsel for numerous developers engaged in the acquisition, financing and development of such diverse projects as large planned unit developments, hotels, mixed use developments and other commercial and residential projects. His governmental practice consists of the representation of both governments and private clients in transactions involving public-private transactions, long-term lease relationships, preparation and response to RFPs and similar transactions.
