Rob Bradner Named Deputy Section Leader, Professional Development and Recruiting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Robert “Rob” Bradner, a partner in Holland &
Knight’s Washington, D.C., office, has been appointed deputy section leader,
Professional Development and Recruiting, of the Government Law Section.
“Rob is an accomplished lawyer and capable leader who brings considerable
talent and energy to this important advisory role,” said Gerry Sikorski,
Government section leader. “His experience, creativity and insight are a
tremendous asset to the firm.”
Bradner has significant experience in the legislative and regulatory arena,
particularly in the areas of health, education, employment, environment and
international affairs. He provides counseling, strategy development, drafting
and advocacy services on matters of federal policy, and has secured federal
support for a wide variety of undertakings across industries.
Prior to joining the firm, Bradner spent 13 years in government service,
including seven as Chief of Staff and Counsel to Congressman John Edward Porter
of Illinois, Chairman of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health
and Human Services, Education and related agencies, and Senior Member of the
Subcommittee on Foreign Operations, Export Financing and Related Programs.
Bradner is admitted to practice in Illinois and the District of Columbia. He
received his bachelor’s in history in 1984 from Yale University and his J.D.
cum laude in 1992 from Georgetown University.
