group of health care lawyers has joined the firm's Miami office as partners.
Maria T. Currier, Alberto M. Hernandez and Roberto Pupo join
Holland & Knight's nationally regarded Health Law Team, one of the largest
health law practices in the country. Previously, they were with Hunton &
Williams in Miami and bring with them significant experience in Latin America.

Maria T. Currier has extensive experience
representing top-tier health care clients in transactional and regulatory
matters, including corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures,
commercial transactions and international business ventures. She has served as
counsel to physicians, medical groups, provider sponsored organizations, health
maintenance organizations, physician-hospital organizations, physician
management companies, employer self-insured plans, prepaid health plans and
national diagnostic companies.
Alberto Hernandez has extensive experience in health care transactional and regulatory matters and has represented physician practice management companies, hospitals, health maintenance organizations and other health care providers and delivery systems.
He also has experience in domestic and international transactions, including
mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance.
Roberto Pupo has represented numerous health care entities in general corporate and regulatory matters, including hospital systems, health maintenance organizations, provider networks and physician management companies. He also has significant experience representing
U.S. and Latin American companies in project finance matters.
