Two Holland & Knight West Coast Partners Recognized in The Lawdragon 3000

LOS ANGELES – Holland & Knight is pleased to announce that Jerome Levine and Jennifer Hernandez have been named to The Lawdragon 3000 Leading Lawyers in America. The Lawdragon 3000 represents less than one percent of the legal profession and includes private lawyers from a variety of practice areas, in-house counsel, law professors, judges and neutrals, government attorneys, and public interest lawyers. This is the second year Levine and Hernandez have been recognized by Lawdragon. In 2005, they were listed in the Lawdragon 500.

Levine is Executive Partner of the firm's Los Angeles office. He is a member of Holland & Knight's Government Section and head of the firm''s Indian law practice group. He has more than 20 years experience representing tribes throughout the country in matters ranging from internal constitutional and governance issues, land in trust matters, fee to trust issues, economic development projects, natural resource protection and development, sacred sites protection, artifacts recovery, and gaming and hotel development and regulation. 

Hernandez, a partner in the firm's San Francisco office, is a member of Holland & Knight's Government Section and co-chairs the firm's environmental team. She represents clients in the private, public, and non-profit sectors in land use and environmental project permitting, compliance, litigation and public advocacy work. She has written two books and more than 30 articles on environmental and land use law.
