Holland & Knight Partner Receives Latino Business Leadership Award

SAN FRANCISCO – Holland & Knight is pleased to
announce that Jennifer Hernandez, a partner in the firm's San Francisco office,
received the 2006 Latino Business Leadership Award for significant achievements
in corporate America on Sept. 27, 2006. The Latino Business Leadership Award is
given to influential Latinos in the San Francisco Bay Area by the San Francisco
Chamber of Commerce, the San Francisco Business Times and Wells Fargo. Hernandez
is one of 31 individuals recognized in one of the following areas: corporate,
emerging leaders under 40, entrepreneurship, health, nonprofit/philanthropy, and
public sector.
Hernandez is a member of Holland & Knight's Government Section and co-chairs
the firm's environmental team. She represents clients in the private, public,
and non-profit sectors in land use and environmental project permitting,
compliance, litigation and public advocacy work. She has taught land use and
environmental law for the University of California and Stanford Law School, and
frequently speaks for client and lawyer professional associations and continuing
education seminars.
