Holland & Knight Partner Suzanne Gilbert Named Practice Group Leader For the Firm's Central Florida Litigation Group

ORLANDO, Fla. – Suzanne Gilbert, a partner in the Orlando
office of Holland & Knight, has been named Practice Group Leader for the firm's
Central Florida Litigation Group. In this role, she will oversee the 16-member
litigation group in Orlando.
Gilbert practices primarily in the areas of commercial litigation and
creditors' rights litigation. She has experience representing plaintiffs and
defendants in commercial disputes in federal, state and bankruptcy courts.
Gilbert has also counseled clients in litigation involving product licensing.
She has represented financial institutions and other entities in a variety of
matters, including lender liability claims, fraudulent transfers, and
preferential transfer actions. She most recently served as the Coordinator of
the Women's Initiative of the Orlando office of Holland & Knight.
Gilbert is active in the American Bar Association, where she is a member of
the Board of Governors, representing the Young Lawyers Division. She is
currently a Liaison to the ABA Commission on Racial and Ethnic Diversity in the
Profession and a past Fellow of the Section of Business Law of the American Bar
Association. In Central Florida, Gilbert is an active member of the Orange
County Bar Association and the Duke Club of Central Florida. She serves on the
Board of the Orlando-UCF Shakespeare Festival and is a graduate of Class 66 of
Leadership Orlando.
