Holland & Knight Partner Larry Sellers Elected to Second Term on the Board of Governors of the Florida Bar

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Holland & Knight is pleased to announce that Larry Sellers, a partner in the firm's Tallahassee office, has been elected to a second term on the Board of Governors of the Florida Bar. Sellers was elected to the two-year term without opposition to represent the lawyers of the Second Judicial Circuit.

The Board of Governors has exclusive authority to formulate and adopt matters of policy concerning the activities of the Bar, subject to limitations imposed by The Rules Regulating The Florida Bar.

Sellers practices administrative and governmental law, with a concentration in environmental matters. He regularly provides advice on permitting and enforcement matters involving a variety of federal, state, regional and local administrative agencies. He has substantial experience in administrative law, including adjudicatory hearings and rulemaking. For more than 20 years, Sellers has represented clients before the Florida Legislature, primarily on various environmental, land use and administrative law issues. He also regularly represents clients on growth management matters.

The Florida Bar's 52-member board consists of the president and president-elect, the president and president-elect of the Young Lawyers Division, representatives elected by members of the Bar from each of the state's 20 judicial circuits, four out-of-state representatives elected by Florida Bar members who reside outside of Florida, and two public members appointed by the Florida Supreme Court.
