Holland & Knight Attorney Paul Lannon Appointed Chair of the Board of Editors of the Boston Bar Journal

BOSTON, MA – September 3, 2009 – Holland & Knight is pleased to announce that Paul Lannon, a partner in firm’s Boston office, was appointed Chair of the Board of Editors of the Boston Bar Association’s premier publication, the Boston Bar Journal (BBJ).

The BBJ is a peer-reviewed, quarterly magazine that presents timely information, analysis and opinions to more than 10,000 lawyers in nearly every practice area. Articles are written by attorneys, judges and other members of the legal community interested in the development of the law.

The Board of Editors is comprised of approximately 28 volunteer judges and attorneys from a wide range of industries and practice areas. As Chair, Lannon will lead the board in selecting and editing articles for publication. Lannon will serve a three-year term that began September 1.

Lannon is a partner in the firm’s Litigation Section, a member of the firm's national Labor, Employment and Benefits practices, Education and Energy practices and is chair of the Non-Competition, Trade Secrets and Employee Defection team. He represents public and private companies in complex civil litigation, counsels businesses on asset protection and workplace issues and advocates for management in employment disputes. Lannon also serves as the outside general counsel for several private colleges and secondary schools in New England. His experience includes successful trials, appeals, arbitrations and mediations, locally and nationally.
