Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Annual Meeting.

and Richard Raysman

Company Through Cloud Computing," and

William
Sherman will speak on the finance track on a panel titled, "Joint
Ventures, Co-ventures, Hybrids and Other Unusual and Creative Ideas for
Increasing Visibility and Raising Revenue."
ACC's Annual Meeting is the largest gathering of in-house
counsel from around the world. Created in 1983, the annual event is an
opportunity for corporate attorneys to gain education credits, meet with legal
service providers and network with their peers.
In "Reducing Risk for Your Company Through Cloud
Computing," Mr. Mahony and Mr. Rasyman, along with their fellow panelists, will address challenges faced by companies that use or
provide cloud computing services. Discussion topics will include: service
standards and reliability measurements, confidential information and trade
secrets, data privacy, security and encryption, liability limitations,
indemnification, and risk allocation and international regulatory issues.
In "Joint Ventures, Co-ventures, Hybrids and Other Unusual
and Creative Ideas for Increasing Visibility and Raising Revenue," Mr. Sherman,
along with his fellow panelists, will
investigate a variety of structures that raise revenues for nonprofits while
simultaneously advancing a commercial interest. Core issues covered will include
the tax on unrelated business income, state commercial co-venture statutes,
permissible private benefit arrangements and a how-to guide on structuring the
venture.
