Holland & Knight's Randy Fenninger Elected to Venous Disease Coalition Steering Committee

WASHINGTON, D.C. – October 20, 2009 – Holland & Knight Senior Policy Advisor Randy Fenninger was recently elected to serve a three-year term on the Venous Disease Coalition's (VDC) steering committee. He is currently the president of the National Alliance for Thrombosis and Thrombophilia (NATT), a voluntary health group focused on patients and families who are affected by blood clots and clotting disorders. NATT is a member of the VDC.
Fenninger is based in the firm's Washington, D.C. office where he specializes in healthcare legislation, regulation and policy. He has represented health professionals, institutional providers and medical device manufacturers for over 30 years and has extensive experience working with Congress, the Executive Branch, independent regulatory agencies and public and private health plans. He advises clients on a variety of health policy issues, with a focus on innovative systems of health care delivery and emerging technologies. Fenninger's work includes technical reimbursement matters, such as coding, coverage and payment determinations. He also represents clients in the not-for-profit sector on public health and biomedical research policy.
The Venous Disease Coalition (VDC) is a collaborative network of professional and public organizations united by one mission to increase public and health professional awareness of venous disease. The VDC is a public and interdisciplinary consortium dedicated to promoting public and health professional awareness of venous disease.
