Arthur E. Rosenberg practices in the area of corporate and commercial transactions, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights.
Mr. Rosenberg has substantial experience in creditors’ rights, bankruptcy and restructuring situations. His experience includes representing major creditors in several large and small U.S. airline bankruptcies, in several international and domestic maritime bankruptcies and insolvencies and in several telecommunications-related bankruptcies. Mr. Rosenberg’s experience in the area of creditors’ rights includes the representation of creditors in various large and small bankruptcy cases, including toxic tort bankruptcies; the representation of the financing arm of a major printing equipment manufacturer as a secured and unsecured creditor; the representation of a foreign insurance company in an ancillary proceeding brought in the Southern District of New York; the representation of several debtors in bankruptcy; the representation of landlords and tenants as creditors in bankruptcy cases and the representation of many defendants in preference and fraudulent conveyance proceedings brought in large and small cases. Mr. Rosenberg has represented not-for-profit entities and foundations in situations involving investments, corporate and contracts issues and insolvency situations.
Mr. Rosenberg also has substantial experience in the formation, funding and general commercial representation of companies, including limited liability companies and other alternative entities.
